When Basílio Tavares fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Purma EC's protests and gave Basílio Tavares a yellow card for diving instead. Basílio Tavares struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Adelino Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Purma EC. 11 minutes into the match, ITAIM F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Tavares came free, but Adelino Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Purma EC booed when ITAIM F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano da Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Cafu Rosado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adelino Santos. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Adelino Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Purma EC's Adelino Santos threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leonardo Vale, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Adelino Santos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Basílio Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Adelino Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jorginho Severo fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ITAIM F.C's protests and gave Jorginho Severo a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes ITAIM F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Severo. In the 32nd minute of the match André Luís Cavalcante shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adelino Santos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Vale in the 35th minute of play forced ITAIM F.C's goalkeeper Adelino Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Leonardo Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adelino Santos came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Purma EC's Basílio Tavares. But to his dismay, Basílio Tavares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Adelino Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

Cipriano da Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Kléber Seco took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Guga França to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of ITAIM F.C booed when Purma EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu Rosado didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Purma EC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Tales Trancoso hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, ITAIM F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Tavares came free, but Adelino Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ITAIM F.C's zone, Leonardo Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adelino Santos came out of the goal and Leonardo Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Vale in the 81st minute of play forced ITAIM F.C's goalkeeper Adelino Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Adelino Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Vale during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leonardo Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Leonardo Vale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adelino Santos having to make a save.
