The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kléber Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Moreira having to interfere. Adelino Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Miguel Lopez fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arvorezinha EC's protests and gave Miguel Lopez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Arvorezinha EC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Miguel Lopez hit a great ball. Kléber Seco took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yan Moreira. Yan Moreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. ITAIM F.C's Adelino Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Sena in the 20th minute of play. Kléber Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Moreira having to interfere. If Cipriano da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yan Moreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kléber Seco in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Kauan Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 邓常超 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yan Moreira having to make a save. Arvorezinha EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kléber Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lúcio Sena made a kick off. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Kléber Seco sped through Arvorezinha EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yan Moreira. In the 59th minute Kléber Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, ITAIM F.C's Adelino Santos got control of the ball when Doni de Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, ITAIM F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caio Coelho to maneuver through the defense. Lúcio Sena might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adelino Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lúcio Sena ran back to his position shaking his head. ITAIM F.C's Horácio Arósio got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kléber Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Moreira having to interfere. If Kléber Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarbas Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 80 played minutes, ITAIM F.C's Elói Prado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yan Moreira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ITAIM F.C reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Arvorezinha EC's zone, Kléber Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yan Moreira came out of the goal and Kléber Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yan Moreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cipriano da Fonseca went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Cipriano da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Moreira having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ITAIM F.C fully deserved thier win.
