The tension between the Tensu FC and the FERNEBAHÇE S.K. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vitório Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adhemar Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FERNEBAHÇE S.K.'s Vitório Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adhemar Madureira in the 22nd minute of play. Vitório Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adhemar Madureira in the 24th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Décio Camargo got free with Vitório Neto in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aílton Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Vitório Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adhemar Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 played minutes Tensu FC got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Proença. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adhemar Madureira to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, FERNEBAHÇE S.K. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birol Bíró to maneuver through the defense. Birol Bíró kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Jorginho Teixeira charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorginho Teixeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
