Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zé Paulo Ferreira started the match with the kick off. When Zé Paulo Ferreira, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 3 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Miguel Carvalho was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Sydney Vinhas made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ipubi EC's Renatinho Torres. Edinho Arósio struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Marcelinho Ferraz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ipubi EC. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Zé Paulo Ferreira took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Miguel Carvalho to make any attempt to save it. In the 19th minute Zé Paulo Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolas Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Renatinho Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ipubi EC booed when Pirajiba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Ipubi EC's goal looked a bit too open when Murillo Antunes came free, but Miguel Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pirajiba FC's zone, Zacarias Gaúcho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelinho Ferraz came out of the goal and Zacarias Gaúcho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edinho Arósio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelinho Ferraz having to make a save. Nicolas Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelinho Ferraz having to interfere.

The wind increased when Nicolas Damião made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Edinho Arósio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leandro Esteves hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Miguel Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Paulo Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute Zacarias Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Cristian Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelinho Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinho Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Pirajiba FC's Cristian Mesquita got his second yellow card of the match in the 67th minute. The referee ordered Cristian Mesquita off the ground. In the 68th match minute, Pirajiba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Pirajiba FC's zone, Zacarias Gaúcho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelinho Ferraz came out of the goal and Zacarias Gaúcho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Pirajiba FC's Sílvio Luís Maia got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Zé Paulo Ferreira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Carvalho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Marcelinho Ferraz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renatinho Torres's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Miguel Carvalho came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Pirajiba FC's Sílvio Luís Maia. But to his dismay, Sílvio Luís Maia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Pirajiba FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Ipubi EC for much of the match.
