The supporters of Fuzil booed when Tucum SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Douglas de Alcântara in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Vaz saved Tucum SC from getting behind. When Tucum SC's Edu Paraense in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fuzil's goalie prevented a goal. Ezequiel de Amaral hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Douglas de Alcântara was the one to do the kick off. If Edu Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Fuzil's zone, Dé Velloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Hames came out of the goal and Dé Velloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tucum SC's Pedro Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas de Alcântara in the 63rd minute of play. With a little luck, Tucum SC's Pedro Vaz got control of the ball when Christiano Campidelis tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Paraense in the 69th minute of play forced Fuzil's goalkeeper Francisco Hames to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 70th minute of the match Marcelinho Berger completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marcelinho Berger a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
