After having played for 3 minutes, Jeferson de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fronteiro EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeferson de Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cedro Futbol Club's Luís Fábio Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Custódio in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Cedro Futbol Club getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Luisão de Godoi hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Valério Furtado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simão Valadares. Fronteiro EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valério Furtado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 12th minute, Valério Furtado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simão Valadares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The supporters of Cedro Futbol Club booed when Fronteiro EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Paulo Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emerson de Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fábio Varela having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Cedro Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson de Godoi came free, but Luís Fábio Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 played minutes Cedro Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Artur Goiano. After having played for 32 minutes, Josué Custódio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fronteiro EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josué Custódio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Fronteiro EC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Amílton Vergílio hit a great ball. Valério Furtado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Simão Valadares made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Ruy Varela took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Simão Valadares to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ruy Varela was the one to do the kick off. Simão Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valério Furtado in the 54th minute of the match. Simão Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisão de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute, Valério Furtado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fronteiro EC's Simão Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruy Varela in the 68th minute of play. If Jeferson de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simão Valadares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruy Varela's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Simão Valadares came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Cedro Futbol Club's Valério Furtado. But to his dismay, Valério Furtado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 78th minute, Tomé Vianna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simão Valadares was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. After a rather tough play, Cedro Futbol Club's Rafael Camargo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. A hard shot 86 in the game by Jeferson de Godoi from a close distance when the talented Luís Fábio Varela managed to make a qualified save. Cedro Futbol Club's players were relieved. In the 89th minute, Murillo Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st match minute, Fronteiro EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué Custódio to maneuver through the defense. Josué Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Luís Fábio Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amílton Vergílio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cedro Futbol Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Fronteiro EC for a fine match.
