In the 16th minute, Décio Simões sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and COMPATT FC's Manuel Fontes didn't even have to move. In the 22nd minute Enio Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardinho de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Haroldo Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 32 minutes, Enio Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enio Prata was the one to do the kick off. Nicolas Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardinho de Toledo having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Enio Prata could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Ricardinho de Toledo however easily saved by the left post. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Du Campo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mário Alvarenga was slow to take the kick. During this time COMPATT FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Luís Eduardo Ramalho got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 76 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in COMPATT FC's zone, Dário do Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Fontes came out of the goal and Dário do Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Dário do Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enio Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ricardinho de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Haroldo Fantini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Fontes was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
