Gugu Moreira started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Lealdade FC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Sousa. After 5 played minutes, Time do Murty FC's Ian Duarte shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Montenegro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Time do Murty FC reached it. Luiz Fernando Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Melo in the 6th minute of the match. When Luís Severo came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Time do Murty FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Severo couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Melo in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fernando Montenegro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Lealdade FC defense, Luís Severo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Fernando Montenegro. The Lealdade FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Fernando Montenegro should have stopped the shot. Luiz Fernando Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Lealdade FC booed when Time do Murty FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Percy Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dênis de Moraes in the 34th minute of the match. Norberto Sousa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Percy Matorin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 39th minute, Norberto Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dênis de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Percy Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dráuzio de Barros hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elias Melo to strike the kick off in the second half. Luiz Fernando Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Dieguinho Velasco's late challenge caught a Time do Murty FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dieguinho Velasco helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes Lealdade FC got a freekick which was hit by Dieguinho Velasco. Elias Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fernando Montenegro having to interfere. The Time do Murty FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Time do Murty FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
