Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Matheus Souza took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Bandeirante's Jardel Pitta got a free kick in the 5th minute. Válbson Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Bandeirante's Ademar da Silva got a free kick in the 9th minute. Guilherme Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válbson Rezende having to interfere. Válbson Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 13 played minutes Bandeirante got a freekick which was hit by Jardel Pitta. After a defensive mix-up in Mondego FC's zone, Matheus Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juninho de Almeida came out of the goal and Matheus Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgard Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válbson Rezende having to interfere. José Maria Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Juninho de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matheus Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Juninho de Almeida made a huge save. Válbson Rezende didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgard Machado went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Juninho de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheus Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 46 minutes, Matheus Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bandeirante's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matheus Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Matheus Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Mondego FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guilherme Zonta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme Zonta in the 55th minute of play forced Bandeirante's goalkeeper Válbson Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mondego FC booed when Bandeirante was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademar da Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Maria Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Juninho de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Diogo Goiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juninho de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Matheus Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bandeirante's supporters rose to their feet, but Matheus Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juninho de Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 72nd play minutes José Maria Antunes shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Juninho de Almeida and just under the crossbar into goal. Cesinha de Queirós's late challenge caught a Mondego FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cesinha de Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. Guilherme Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válbson Rezende having to interfere. Benjamim Mazza charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamim Mazza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th minute, Benjamim Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Mondego FC's Edgard Machado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Válbson Rezende narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guilherme Zonta in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Válbson Rezende prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Mondego FC's Alberto Vieira got a free kick in the 96th minute. Bandeirante were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Mondego FC to leave the ground with a draw.
