Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lavaibola Kaneladas's Artur Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Mineiro in the 4th minute of play. If Anselmo Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony Linares got in the 13th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ulysses Gaúcho handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Lavaibola Kaneladas's Zé Paulo Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo José Teixeira hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Beto Mineiro sped through Lavaibola Kaneladas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Artur Vergílio. Enio Rossi's late challenge caught a Guacui SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enio Rossi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Lavaibola Kaneladas getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Enio Rossi hit a great ball. Guacui SS's Luís Eduardo Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo Neto in the 31st minute of play forced Lavaibola Kaneladas's goalkeeper Artur Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Eduardo Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Vergílio having to interfere. Luís Eduardo Neto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Vergílio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Artur Vergílio came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Guacui SS's Beto Mineiro. But to his dismay, Beto Mineiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ulysses Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Anselmo Mazza made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Lavaibola Kaneladas's goalkeeper Artur Vergílio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beto Mineiro. Beto Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beto Mineiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Artur Vergílio made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beto Mineiro got free with Artur Vergílio in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Luís Eduardo Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Eduardo Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Vergílio having to interfere. Ulysses Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Linares in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Tony Linares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lavaibola Kaneladas's Tony Linares got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Anselmo Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Guacui SS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
