In the 46th minute Dé Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Eduardo Pinheiro to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Fernandynhu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celsinho Mota came free, but Elias Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dé Coelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Mário Araújo made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Isaltino de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flachambi's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaltino de Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Cardoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee ignored Fernandynhu FC's protests and gave Dalmo Vergílio a yellow card for diving instead. Flachambi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Luiz Eduardo Pinheiro scored to the left of an out of position Mário Araújo, making the score, 2-1. Elias Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Arce in the 96th minute of the match. Flachambi were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Fernandynhu FC for a fine match.
