After 17 played minutes, Laziol's Perivaldo Guerra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Betão Magalhães came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Laziol reached it. Elano Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the game, Dalmo Vale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Betão Magalhães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 1-2 became the score in the 29th minute when Rui da Cunha elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ronaldão Carvalho hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Laziol's zone, Armando Vides stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisinho Senna came out of the goal and Armando Vides tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Rui da Cunha made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Armando Vides got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rui da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisinho Senna having to interfere. In the 55th minute, 许霆凡 made a precise shot to the right of Luisinho Senna. Laziol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of GAUCHO:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Laziol:s goal. The goalkeeper, Betão Magalhães, was totally fooled by Laziol's Perivaldo Guerra, who 66 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 69th minute, Walmyr Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulão Cardozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmo Vale got free with Betão Magalhães in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 75 played minutes GAUCHO got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldão Carvalho. 许霆凡 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisinho Senna having to interfere.
