Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 8th minute Enio Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rômulo Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enio Gaúcho in the 11th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Cesinha Castro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dourado and the Iguitu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Dourado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesinha Castro to maneuver through the defense. Dalmo de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Iguitu FC's Dedé Mattos in 20 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Daniel Diniz guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Vitinho Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match Benjamim Alagoano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rômulo Meireles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Wilton Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dourado's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilton Cavalcante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rômulo Meireles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes into the game, Válter Araújo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Iguitu FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dourado the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Viana in the 42nd minute of play forced Iguitu FC's goalkeeper Rômulo Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Wilton Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Iguitu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilton Cavalcante came free, but Rômulo Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raphael Viana made a kick off. Dedé Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Daniel Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dedé Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Enio Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Dedé Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iguitu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dedé Mattos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Diniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmo de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Raphael Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Rômulo Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dourado's Daniel Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmo de Almeida in the 95th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
