The referee showed Frédson Ortiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sovaco booed when Exaltacao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frédson Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Lira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Víktor de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeu Lopez in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Víktor de Amaral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeu Lopez in the 41st minute of play forced Exaltacao FC's goalkeeper Víktor de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Lira in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Víktor de Amaral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 64th minute, Sovaco's Tadeu Lopez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Víktor de Amaral. Víktor de Amaral yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1.
