When Cipriano Paranaense came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Drakko FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Paranaense couldn't finish the play. After 19 played minutes Drakko FC got a freekick which was hit by Germano Santana. 21 minutes into the game, Cauã Cosme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Váldson Montenegro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Amauri Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinícius Vianna hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Exaltacao FC's Víktor de Amaral got control of the ball when Cipriano Paranaense tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cipriano Paranaense kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Víktor de Amaral. That made the score 3-1 in the 31 minute of play. A collision led to Drakko FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Luisinho Araújo hit a great ball. Cipriano Paranaense who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Víktor de Amaral when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 44 minutes into the match, Exaltacao FC's goalkeeper Víktor de Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cipriano Paranaense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aírton Viana during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aírton Viana hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Víktor de Amaral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Drakko FC were furious when Vitório Mesquita was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Drakko FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Exaltacao FC:s goal. After 71 played minutes Drakko FC got a freekick which was hit by Germano Santana. After recieving a nice pass, Exaltacao FC's Silvério Cabral tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 74th match minute, Drakko FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germano Santana to maneuver through the defense. If Cauã Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Cipriano Paranaense made a precise shot to the right of Víktor de Amaral. Exaltacao FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. In the 81st minute Cipriano Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Víktor de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th match minute, Exaltacao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frédson Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. Abelardo Bezerra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Víktor de Amaral. After having played for 96 minutes, Cipriano Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drakko FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Paranaense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cipriano Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
