Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Richard Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauã Couto in the 4th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Goytacaz's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Augusto Peres came free, but Richard Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Valdir Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Augusto Peres in the 18th minute of the match. Luizão Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aloísio Valadares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arí Pitta in the 25th minute of play forced Goytacaz's goalkeeper Richard Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Matos in the 26th minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Buritirama FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Matos to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 34 minutes, Valdir Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goytacaz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdir Teles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Claudinho Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Buritirama FC's Aloísio Valadares got control of the ball when Luizão Porto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Buritirama FC's zone, Luizão Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aloísio Valadares came out of the goal and Luizão Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute Arí Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdir Teles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arí Pitta to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauã Couto in the 51st minute of play forced Goytacaz's goalkeeper Richard Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vânderson Trevisan in the 60th minute of play forced Buritirama FC's goalkeeper Aloísio Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Gerson Hoffmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buritirama FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goytacaz the free kick. In the 63rd match minute, Buritirama FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerson Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Arí Pitta took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Richard Bastos to make any attempt to save it. Zé Augusto Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Goytacaz's goalkeeper Richard Bastos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alan Matos. In the 81st minute, Gerson Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luizão Porto struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Aloísio Valadares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goytacaz. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafael Maia during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Buritirama FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Rafael Maia hit a great ball. Vânderson Trevisan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aloísio Valadares. Buritirama FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vânderson Trevisan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aloísio Valadares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Although Goytacaz had been in control for most of the match, Buritirama FC still came away with the win.
