Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Maurinho Aguiar got the match started through his kick off. 0-1 became the score in the 3rd minute when Naldo Dantas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Maurinho Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donatello Moreno having to interfere. Sydney Paraibano struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Donatello Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Romeu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Aguiar in the 11th minute of play forced Caru's goalkeeper Donatello Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Caru's Caco Paraíba got a free kick in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Caru's zone, Maurinho Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donatello Moreno came out of the goal and Maurinho Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurinho Aguiar got free with Donatello Moreno in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 19 minutes, Lucas Quirino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Romeu and the Caru players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Romeu's Lucas Quirino got a free kick in the 19th minute. Aloísio Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudu Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Caco Paraíba made a precise shot to the right of Aloísio Vaz. Romeu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Rafael Arósio put in a rough tackle. Aloísio Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudu Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Maurinho Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathias Campidelis's late challenge caught a Romeu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mathias Campidelis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, Caru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Caru's goalkeeper Donatello Moreno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maurinho Aguiar. 45 minutes into the match, Maurinho Aguiar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Donatello Moreno, 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dudu Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. Lucas Quirino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romeu's Aloísio Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Paraíba in the 55th minute of play. The long shot by Mathias Campidelis in the 64th minute really tested Aloísio Vaz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Lucas Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donatello Moreno having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Caru's zone, Maurinho Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donatello Moreno came out of the goal and Maurinho Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Romeu's Sydney Paraibano got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 83 minutes of play, Romeu's Maurinho Aguiar made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donatello Moreno was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 90 played minutes, Romeu's Ernesto Chaves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Donatello Moreno came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Romeu reached it. Aírton Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95th minute of the match Hugo Cosme sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donatello Moreno skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Maurinho Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romeu's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurinho Aguiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donatello Moreno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
