Samuel Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuca Andrade in the 22nd minute of play. If Ramón Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Braga's Ramón Ortiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Antunes narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
