Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hamílton Pinheiro started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lone Star's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Thomás da Costa was slow to take the kick. During this time Domelia's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Thomás da Costa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Adalmo da Fonseca quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Adalmo da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcinho Valadares in the 14th minute of the match. A collision led to Domelia getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Donato Alagoano hit a great ball. After 22 played minutes Lone Star got a freekick which was hit by Vitório Braga. In the 31st minute, Ricardo Galvão made a precise shot to the right of Adalmo da Fonseca. Lone Star's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Adalmo da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Galvão in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Ricardo Galvão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Domelia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Alberto Fernandez came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Lone Star fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Fernandez couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Galvão made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sérgio de Castro during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 62 minutes into the match, Domelia's Ricardo Galvão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adalmo da Fonseca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lone Star's Adalmo da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Galvão in the 64th minute of play. Adalmo da Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Adalmo da Fonseca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donato Alagoano went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to Domelia getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ricardo Galvão hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Lone Star's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ricardo Galvão fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Adalmo da Fonseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato Alagoano in the 83rd minute. Domelia's Ricardo Galvão got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes in the game, Ricardo Galvão fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Adalmo da Fonseca having to interfere. Ricardo Galvão was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After having played for 93 minutes, Donato Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Domelia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Alagoano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 94 played minutes Ricardo Galvão rounded Lone Star's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4.
