Erivaldo Maciel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Naldo Vaz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eurico Velasco, 2-0. If Naldo Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mário Rosado came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eurico Velasco could save by the left post. Naldo Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Eurico Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Naldo Vaz was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mário Rosado in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eurico Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 53rd minute, Lauro Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Mário Rosado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eurico Velasco was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When Ipigua's Tião Hoffmann in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Crazy Diamond F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Eurico Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tião Hoffmann in the 68th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Tião Hoffmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eurico Velasco was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Eurico Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Rosado in the 75th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Mário Rosado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Eurico Velasco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 92 minutes into the match, Crazy Diamond F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gino Barros came free, but Eurico Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 played minutes Crazy Diamond F.C got a freekick which was hit by Zé Augusto Dante. Naldo Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Eurico Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Ipigua were the better team. Ipigua's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
