Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eliézer Paraense started the match with the kick off. Gilberto Mangueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Elano Toscano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canavani FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Raí Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliézer Paraense in the 14th minute of play. Eliézer Paraense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raí Batista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Elano Toscano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canavani FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xanxerê Futebol Clube the free kick. When Eliézer Paraense came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Xanxerê Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliézer Paraense couldn't finish the play. After 36 minutes, João Gordo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Canavani FC's Raí Batista tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 1-2 became the score in the 40th minute when Rafael Bueno elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliézer Paraense in the 46th minute of play forced Canavani FC's goalkeeper Raí Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Eliézer Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 53rd minute Alessandro Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raí Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Canavani FC's Raí Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Maia in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Canavani FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Arthur Messias hit a great ball. If Eliézer Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute Eliézer Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raí Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliézer Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Raí Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Eliézer Paraense notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Canavani FC's Raí Batista. Raí Batista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 69 minutes into the game, one of Canavani FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Raí Batista had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Eliézer Paraense's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Canavani FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliézer Paraense came free, but Raí Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliézer Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvinho da Silveira hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Eliézer Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliézer Paraense might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raí Batista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliézer Paraense ran back to his position shaking his head. Raí Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Maia in the 86th minute of play. Eliézer Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alessandro Maia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raí Batista having to make a save. Canavani FC's Raí Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer Paraense in the 91st minute of play. Hernani de Carvalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raí Batista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
