Bemfica SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Hoffmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Bemfica SC's Ezequiel Baiano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noel Rosado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Rodolfo Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Baiano notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Periquara's Noel Rosado. Noel Rosado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rodolfo Lima hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Augusto Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Periquara's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Gomes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toninho Quintal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Noel Rosado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Rodolfo Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bemfica SC's Rodolfo Lima got a free kick in the 35th minute. Periquara's Ivo de Queiroz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bemfica SC. When Rui Hoffmann, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 43 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Noel Rosado was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Periquara's Augusto Gomes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Toninho Quintal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Toninho Quintal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edson Zanette in the 46th minute. Toninho Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edson Zanette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Periquara players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bemfica SC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ezequiel Baiano was the one to do the kick off. Rui Hoffmann in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Noel Rosado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rui Hoffmann struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Noel Rosado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bemfica SC. Toninho Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Gomes in the 72nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Bemfica SC's Ezequiel Baiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Noel Rosado. That made the score 1-6 after 74 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Periquara's Edson Zanette got a free kick in the 80th minute. Alfredinho Rocha hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
