Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Robinho Peixoto got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robinho Peixoto in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cássio Hermes saved Caranahyba AD from getting behind. Broca FC's Ramón Messias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durvalino Simões in the 12th minute of play. Luís Paulo Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Messias having to interfere. Juan Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Cássio Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caranahyba AD's Cássio Hermes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Caranahyba AD from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robinho Peixoto in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cássio Hermes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the game, Robinho Peixoto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cássio Hermes. Robinho Peixoto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 25 played minutes Caranahyba AD got a freekick which was hit by Artur Paulista. Robinho Peixoto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Cássio Hermes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Artur Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Robinho Peixoto struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Cássio Hermes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Broca FC. Juan Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Rogério Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Ronaldinho Veloso sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Broca FC's Ramón Messias didn't even have to move. Cássio Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho Peixoto in the 54th minute of play. Broca FC's Juan Macedo got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Juan Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Broca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Macedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio Hermes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute, Gilberto Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Luís Paulo Terra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramón Messias was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Robinho Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Cássio Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cássio Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robinho Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. A collision led to Caranahyba AD getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Carlos Fernando Xavier hit a great ball. In the 73rdth minute of the game Juan Macedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caranahyba AD's Cássio Hermes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Durvalino Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caranahyba AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Durvalino Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramón Messias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Broca FC's Juvenal Meira got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Caranahyba AD's Luís Paulo Terra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ramón Messias. Ramón Messias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Robinho Peixoto struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Cássio Hermes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Broca FC. If Robinho Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Caranahyba AD's Durvalino Simões sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramón Messias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Broca FC's zone, Durvalino Simões stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramón Messias came out of the goal and Durvalino Simões tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Cássio Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Broca FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
