Rodrigo Adriano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho Peixoto in the 14th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Broca FC's Gilberto Paraibano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodrigo Adriano. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. 21 minutes into the match, Broca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aílton Luz came free, but Ramón Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Adriano made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Juan Macedo sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, S.C.TROVAO's Iacob Curea got a free kick in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Broca FC's Frédson Alves got a free kick in the 28th minute. The S.C.TROVAO fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when S.C.TROVAO's Cafu Nascimento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 33rd minute, Zé Paulo Berger made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo Adriano. S.C.TROVAO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Rodrigo Adriano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robinho Peixoto in the 36th minute of the match. In the 36th match minute, S.C.TROVAO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvaldo Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. Juan Macedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Adriano made a huge save. Geovani Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Paulo Berger got free with Rodrigo Adriano in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the match, Juan Macedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Adriano. S.C.TROVAO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Macedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Juan Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cafu Nascimento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The S.C.TROVAO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Adriano should have stopped the shot. Aílton Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Messias having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Broca FC got a freekick which was hit by Juvenal Meira. Aílton Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Macedo in the 78th minute of play forced S.C.TROVAO's goalkeeper Rodrigo Adriano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Adriano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Macedo's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Broca FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Cafu Nascimento scored to the left of an out of position Ramón Messias, making the score, 5-3. Robinho Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Adriano having to interfere. Rodrigo Adriano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Frédson Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, S.C.TROVAO's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo Berger came free, but Rodrigo Adriano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo Berger in the 94th minute of play forced S.C.TROVAO's goalkeeper Rodrigo Adriano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Juan Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Adriano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Broca FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
