Laércio de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Cavalcante having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Atletic Dildoa's goalkeeper Frédson Albuquerque had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mazinho Prata. 11 minutes into the match, Rafinha Nogueira notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Atletic Dildoa's Frédson Albuquerque. Frédson Albuquerque was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Laércio de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Walmir Cavalcante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio de Almeida in the 37th minute of play forced Jardim Itu FC's goalkeeper Walmir Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frédson Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laércio de Almeida was the one to do the kick off. Almir Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Jardim Itu FC's Ramiro Ortiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frédson Albuquerque narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Atletic Dildoa booed when Jardim Itu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th match minute, Atletic Dildoa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Luz to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Edgar Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletic Dildoa's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walmir Cavalcante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mazinho Prata did an outstanding performance 95 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 5-0 to the right of an irritated Frédson Albuquerque in the goal.
