The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. José Paulo de Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sílvio Luiz Soeiro in the 3rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cauan Souza during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mussurepe booed when S.E. Futshow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauan Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Mussurepe fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Mussurepe's Dalmo Aguiar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Futshow's Jardel Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmo Aguiar in the 24th minute of play. Sílvio Luiz Soeiro hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Dalmo Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Falcão do Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.E. Futshow's protests and gave Falcão do Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Falcão do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dalmo Aguiar in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jardel Goiano saved S.E. Futshow from getting behind. In the 33rd minute of the match Christiano Carvalho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jardel Goiano skillfully saved the ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.E. Futshow's goalkeeper Jardel Goiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Mussurepe's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Ramalho came free, but José Paulo de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falcão do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Dalmo Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Paulo de Queiroz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sílvio Luiz Soeiro went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Patrick Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Erasmo Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Paulo de Queiroz having to interfere. If Sílvio Luiz Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sílvio Luiz Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. José Paulo de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. S.E. Futshow walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
