Bruninho Barreto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oiti EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedrão Netto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Marcelo Soares's late challenge caught a Oiti EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Soares helped the player get up and apologised. Marcelo Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilmar Paranaense was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulinho Trigo in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inácio Albuquerque prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruninho Barreto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gino Diniz in the 56th minute. With an all-out effort, Dirceu's Bruninho Barreto threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gilmar Paranaense, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 61st minute, Pedrão Netto made a precise shot to the right of Bruninho Barreto. Oiti EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. Oiti EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Gino Diniz scored to the left of an out of position Bruninho Barreto, making the score, 3-6. In the 89thth minute of the game Gilmar Paranaense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oiti EC's Bruninho Barreto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruninho Barreto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gino Diniz in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute, Dirceu's José Carlos Cruz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-7.
