Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gilberto Quaresma made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Dênis Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonel Meireles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Nico Mota made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Quaresma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nico Mota was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Quaresma in the 17th minute of play forced Caturia's goalkeeper Nico Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dênis Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Júlio Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Paulo Corrêa in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Caturia's Luís Paulo Corrêa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júlio Souza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 30 minutes into the game, Gilberto Quaresma recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nico Mota. Gilberto Quaresma showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 36 played minutes Baitapora got a freekick which was hit by Washington Cardoso. Gilberto Quaresma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Mota having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Meireles got free with Nico Mota in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonel Meireles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Luís Paulo Corrêa made the kick off in the second half. Júlio Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Paulo Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilberto Quaresma scored 2-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nico Mota, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Danilo Neiva's late challenge caught a Baitapora's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danilo Neiva helped the player get up and apologised. After 63 played minutes Caturia got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Neiva. If Leonel Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nico Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Quaresma, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 71st match minute, Caturia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juvenal Varela to maneuver through the defense. Luís Paulo Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Júlio Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Wilton Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Leonel Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baitapora's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Meireles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nico Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd match minute, Baitapora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Baitapora players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
