The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 16th minute, when SERRANO F.C.'s Afonso Macedo after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Elder Salgado in Quincas F.C.'s goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. In the 22nd minute Jânio Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jânio Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaltino Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Elder Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, SERRANO F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Matías Fonseca came free, but Orlando Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jânio Fantini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elder Salgado having to make a save. Elder Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jânio Fantini in the 80th minute of the match. Orlando Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Matías Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Nelsinho Prestes kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Quincas F.C.'s Elder Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jânio Fantini in the 87th minute of play. Isaltino Diniz took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elder Salgado. Elder Salgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
