The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Paulinho Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sororo SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulinho Schmidt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Váldson Schmidt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fellipe Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedê Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Rubens das Neves notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sororo SS's Fellipe Paraíba. Fellipe Paraíba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13thth minute of the game Rubens das Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sororo SS's Fellipe Paraíba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Sororo SS's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê Dante came free, but Fellipe Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Vágner Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd match minute, Cascadura SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sydney Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. Jean Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Váldson Schmidt having to interfere. Cascadura SC's Váldson Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Gabriel Vieira in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Paulinho Schmidt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Váldson Schmidt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cascadura SC's goalkeeper Váldson Schmidt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Sororo SS booed when Cascadura SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudu das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Cascadura SC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Gabriel Vieira came free, but Váldson Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiago Gabriel Vieira to strike the kick off in the second half. Sororo SS were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Cascadura SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Allan Vasconcelos took the corner. Sororo SS's Allan Vasconcelos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Váldson Schmidt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tiago Gabriel Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59thth minute of the game Tiago Gabriel Vieira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cascadura SC's Váldson Schmidt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fellipe Paraíba was a little too slow when Rubens das Neves got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-2. 67 minutes into the match, Tiago Gabriel Vieira notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Cascadura SC's Váldson Schmidt. Váldson Schmidt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 71 minutes of play, Cascadura SC's Dedê Dante made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fellipe Paraíba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tiago Gabriel Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fellipe Paraíba made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Dedê Dante sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Cascadura SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sororo SS:s goal. Tiago Gabriel Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiago Gabriel Vieira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Váldson Schmidt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. The Sororo SS fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Sororo SS's Tiago Gabriel Vieira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dedê Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 101st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sororo SS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
