After 3 played minutes Ararunaquara EC got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Travassos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilmar Dias in the 6th minute of play forced Ararunaquara EC's goalkeeper Conrado Mangueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Ararunaquara EC's Raphael Soeiro threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Telmo Baiano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 9 minutes into the match, Wartec's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Baiano came free, but Raphael Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Bezerra might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Conrado Mangueira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Bezerra ran back to his position shaking his head. Raphael Soeiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narciso Travassos went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 24th minute, César Negri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ararunaquara EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 28th minute, Eduardo Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Ararunaquara EC's goal looked a bit too open when Nilmar Dias came free, but Conrado Mangueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Wartec's goalkeeper Raphael Soeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serginho Arósio. Geovânio Arantes was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute of the match Vivaldo de Queiroz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raphael Soeiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Telmo Baiano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Raphael Soeiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Telmo Baiano slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 36th minute. Gilvan Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Eduardo Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Mangueira having to interfere. After some careless play in the Wartec defense, Narciso Travassos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raphael Soeiro. The Wartec fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raphael Soeiro should have stopped the shot. If Luís Fabiano Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado Mangueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Bezerra in the 60th minute of the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Eduardo Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wartec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Bezerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Ararunaquara EC's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Bezerra came free, but Conrado Mangueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raphael Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho Arósio in the 68th minute of the match. If Luís Fabiano Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Serginho Arósio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Raphael Soeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 83rd minute, Telmo Baiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ararunaquara EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ararunaquara EC's goalkeeper Conrado Mangueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Conrado Mangueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamílton de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raphael Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho Arósio in the 91st minute of the match. Luís Fabiano Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ararunaquara EC's goalkeeper Conrado Mangueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 95th match minute, Ararunaquara EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Valle to maneuver through the defense. Gilvan Mesquita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Conrado Mangueira made a huge save.
