Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) If Reginaldo Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reginaldo Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 16 minutes into the match, Cajuru's goalkeeper Jefferson Pinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reginaldo Lira. If Reginaldo Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Nelson Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cajuru's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Reginaldo Lira scored to the left of an out of position Jefferson Pinho, making the score, 1-0. Elias Eger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reginaldo Lira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jefferson Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nelson Zonta lost his temper 30 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Cajuru. Eriberto Meira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cláudio Chaves. 1-1. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Emílio de Castro took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Jefferson Pinho to make any attempt to save it. Leonardo Zonta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mazinho Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Pinho having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Eger to make the kick off. Jefferson Pinho came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Flamengo FC's Mazinho Zonta. But to his dismay, Mazinho Zonta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Jefferson Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Zonta in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Flamengo FC's Mazinho Zonta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jefferson Pinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Cláudio Chaves made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Reginaldo Tande sent off a good shot on target. Mazinho Zonta struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Jefferson Pinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flamengo FC. A collision led to Cajuru getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Eriberto Meira hit a great ball. Reginaldo Tande blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cláudio Chaves having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Eger in the 78th minute of play forced Cajuru's goalkeeper Jefferson Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute of the game Eriberto Meira made a throw-in which Jeferson Cosme played forward. Mazinho Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jefferson Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 minutes of play, Flamengo FC's Leonardo Zonta made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jefferson Pinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jefferson Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazinho Zonta in the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Leonardo Zonta notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Cajuru's Jefferson Pinho. Jefferson Pinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 92 minutes into the match, Leonardo Zonta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jefferson Pinho. Cajuru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Zonta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Flamengo FC fully deserved thier win.
