The Jovens em ação fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Jovens em ação's Abelardo Prestes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 6th minute, Caco da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, Quintinos AD's goal looked a bit too open when Wang Chang Ang came free, but Rômulo da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Rômulo da Mata successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Abelardo Prestes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rômulo da Mata read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Rômulo da Mata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wang Chang Ang in the 16th minute of play. Jovens em ação's Nestor Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruninho Schmidt in the 19th minute of play. Nestor Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Monteiro in the 22nd minute of play. Rômulo da Mata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wang Chang Ang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abelardo Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Wang Chang Ang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Abelardo Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rony Toscano hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Jovens em ação's Nestor Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco da Mata in the 36th minute of play. Rômulo da Mata was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Wang Chang Ang capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wang Chang Ang really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 41st play minute Abelardo Prestes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rômulo da Mata. 3-0. If Abelardo Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Caco da Mata made the kick off in the second half. Nestor Pimenta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caco da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 59 minutes into the game, Abelardo Prestes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Rômulo da Mata was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jovens em ação made a substitution. Régis Félix replaced Wang Chang Ang. Régis Félix scored 6-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rômulo da Mata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruninho Schmidt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nestor Pimenta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Quintinos AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Faustino to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Quintinos AD defense, Basílio Teixeira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rômulo da Mata. The Quintinos AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rômulo da Mata should have stopped the shot. In the 84thth minute of the game Basílio Teixeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quintinos AD's Rômulo da Mata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rômulo da Mata didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basílio Teixeira went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Quintinos AD getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Geraldo Monteiro hit a great ball.
