Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marquinhos Borges made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Destino SC's zone, Gilberto Corrêa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Eduardo Duarte came out of the goal and Gilberto Corrêa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Luís Eduardo Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Corrêa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. Codo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 12 played minutes Destino SC got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Queiroz. Cristian Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Luís Eduardo Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Codo fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Codo's Cristian Vides looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luís Eduardo Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Corrêa in the 20th minute of play. Cristian Vides's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Eduardo Duarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Cristian Vides struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Luís Eduardo Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Codo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Corrêa in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Eduardo Duarte saved Destino SC from getting behind. Gilberto Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Eduardo Duarte having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Codo's Cristian Vides ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luís Eduardo Duarte. Luís Eduardo Duarte yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Gilberto Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Luís Eduardo Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristian Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Evaristo Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Cosme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marquinhos Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Walmir Loyola fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Destino SC's protests and gave Walmir Loyola a yellow card for diving instead. Walmir Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilberto Corrêa to make the kick off. Gilberto Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. In the 74th minute Marquinhos Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Cosme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Vides in the 78th minute of play forced Destino SC's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 3-0 became the score in the 80th minute when Gilberto Corrêa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gilberto Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Eduardo Duarte having to interfere. Vítor Cosme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Queiroz in the 89th minute of the match. Codo's Cristian Vides got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilberto Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Eduardo Duarte having to interfere.
