Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marquinhos Borges took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Humberto Quaresma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sumauna FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Quaresma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Eduardo Duarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th match minute, Destino SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Recife to maneuver through the defense. Luís Eduardo Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Quaresma, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Quaresma in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Eduardo Duarte saved Destino SC from getting behind. 15 minutes into the match, Destino SC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Pedro da Mata came free, but Luís Eduardo Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Eduardo Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Quaresma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Quaresma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Luís Eduardo Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sumauna FC's Róbson Trigo got a free kick in the 26th minute. Teodoro Sousa shot from long distance in the 27th minute, but Ricardo Linares was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. 27 minutes into the game, Abelardo Novaes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sumauna FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Destino SC the free kick. Abelardo Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Ricardo Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquinhos Borges in the 31st minute of play. If Evaristo Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Destino SC's Marquinhos Borges got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marquinhos Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Destino SC's Luís Eduardo Duarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Destino SC from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes into the match, Destino SC's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Quaresma came free, but Luís Eduardo Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Quaresma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Eduardo Duarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Destino SC's Luís Eduardo Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Quaresma in the 87th minute of play. Zé Pedro da Mata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Eduardo Duarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Humberto Quaresma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sumauna FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Quaresma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zé Pedro da Mata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Destino SC's Luís Eduardo Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Quaresma in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute Humberto Quaresma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
