Toco Preto EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Sílvio Luiz Ferraz scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Alberto Lima, making the score, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdemar Nascimento got free with Carlos Alberto Lima in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celsinho Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid Mendes in the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Allan Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kojaqueira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute of the match Kojaqueira got a corner. Toco Preto EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Allan Duarte ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Reynaldo Velasco managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Valdemar Nascimento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Carlos Alberto Lima made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Gomes during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Toco Preto EC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Marco Gomes hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Sílvio Luiz Ferraz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Alberto Lima. Toco Preto EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sílvio Luiz Ferraz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 46th match minute, Toco Preto EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Gomes to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Deivid Mendes made the kick off in the second half. When Reynaldo Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Kojaqueira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Velasco couldn't finish the play. 54 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Velasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Alberto Lima. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Velasco in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Alberto Lima saved Toco Preto EC from getting behind. Carlos Alberto Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luiz Ferraz in the 79th minute of the match.
