In the 5thth minute of the game Haroldo Pitta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toco Preto EC's Carlos Alberto Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Pedro Paulo Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pipipa SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Paulo Quintal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deivid Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Hélder Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haroldo Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto Lima having to interfere. The supporters of Pipipa SC booed when Toco Preto EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Roberto de Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haroldo Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto Lima having to interfere. Carlos Alberto Lima came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pipipa SC's Pedro Paulo Quintal. But to his dismay, Pedro Paulo Quintal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 26 minutes into the match, Toco Preto EC's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Pitta came free, but Carlos Alberto Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Pedro Trigo struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Hélder Freitas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toco Preto EC. Hélder Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Pedro Paulo Quintal could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Carlos Alberto Lima however easily saved by the left post. If Pedro Paulo Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Carlos Alberto Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

In the 53rd minute, João Pedro Trigo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hélder Freitas. The goal made the score 3-1. After a rather tough play, Pipipa SC's Pedro Augusto Rosa got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute of the match Silas Fantini sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hélder Freitas skillfully saved the ball. Deivid Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Hélder Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simão Xavier's late challenge caught a Pipipa SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simão Xavier helped the player get up and apologised. 75 minutes into the game, one of Toco Preto EC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Marco Jacinto shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Carlos Alberto Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Pitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Pedro Paulo Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Carlos Alberto Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Haroldo Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute.
