Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fernandão Falcão started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 9th minute, Doni Coutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Doni Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anhemby AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Doni Coutinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Luís Xavier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredo Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Pedro Luís Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Carlos da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Doni Coutinho came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Anhemby AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doni Coutinho couldn't finish the play. Anhemby AD's Jefferson Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandão Falcão in the 33rd minute of play. Jefferson Moreno came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Fonseca SS's Wágner Pires. But to his dismay, Wágner Pires quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pedro Luís Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Castro in the 37th minute of the match. A hard shot 38 in the game by Doni Coutinho from a close distance when the talented Pedro Luís Xavier managed to make a qualified save. Fonseca SS's players were relieved. In the 41st minute of the match Sydney Mazza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jefferson Moreno skillfully saved the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Fonseca SS's Remo Barros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jefferson Moreno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Doni Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Fonseca SS were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doni Coutinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Doni Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Doni Coutinho struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Pedro Luís Xavier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anhemby AD. Doni Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Anhemby AD's Doni Coutinho in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 72nd minute, Alfredo Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Fonseca SS defense, Doni Coutinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Luís Xavier. The Fonseca SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Luís Xavier should have stopped the shot. In the 76th match minute, Fonseca SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remo Barros to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Luís Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doni Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Pedro Luís Xavier didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Anhemby AD's Alfredo Castro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-2 in the ordered_time% minute. 84 minutes into the match, Doni Coutinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Luís Xavier. Fonseca SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doni Coutinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doni Coutinho in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Luís Xavier saved Fonseca SS from getting behind. Pedro Luís Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doni Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
