An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carlos da Silveira in the 60th minute of play forced AC Poker's goalkeeper Manoel Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, AC Poker's Ismael Braga got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The supporters of AC Poker booed when Anhemby AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute of the match Vito Dantas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manoel Paraibano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Doni Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manoel Paraibano having to interfere. Manoel Paraibano came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Anhemby AD's Alfredo Castro. But to his dismay, Alfredo Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AC Poker eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
