Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cláudio Mattos took the kick off in the first half of the match. Zé da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5thth minute of the game Tostão Secco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Desagua FC's Reinaldo de Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Franklin Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute, Luiz Fernando Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute of the match Carlos da Rocha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reinaldo de Almeida skillfully saved the ball. Alex Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, Imarui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cosme to maneuver through the defense. Reinaldo de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tostão Secco in the 25th minute of the match. Franklin Macedo struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Reinaldo de Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Imarui. The supporters of Imarui booed when Desagua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davi Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Tostão Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imarui's supporters rose to their feet, but Tostão Secco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reinaldo de Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tostão Secco in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reinaldo de Almeida saved Desagua FC from getting behind. After the first half Imarui were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cláudio Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
