Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eliseu Santos started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Prata SC got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Abraão. Renatinho Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Eduardo de Godoy made a huge save. In the 8th minute Luiz Paulo Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Américo Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Caratateua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Santos came free, but Eduardo de Godoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Eliseu Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Eduardo de Godoy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eliseu Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Eduardo de Godoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renatinho Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo de Godoy having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Prata SC's Eliseu Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduardo de Godoy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Luiz Paulo Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Caratateua FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Paulo Aguiar couldn't finish the play. Américo Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renatinho Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo de Godoy having to interfere. Conrado Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Eliseu Santos struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Eduardo de Godoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prata SC. Conrado Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conrado Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aloísio Abraão, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Eliseu Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduardo de Godoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseu Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. A collision led to Prata SC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Belmiro Mendonça hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Paulo Aguiar to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Renatinho Perez sped through Caratateua FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eduardo de Godoy. Eduardo de Godoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Santos in the 60th minute of play. Luís Paulo Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Caratateua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Perez came free, but Eduardo de Godoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseu Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo de Godoy having to interfere. Eliseu Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renatinho Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Caratateua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Perez came free, but Eduardo de Godoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, Prata SC's Eliseu Santos made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduardo de Godoy was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Prata SC were the better team. Prata SC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
