Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leonardo Amorim took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Edmílson de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th minute Edmílson de Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvinho Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes in the game, Edmílson de Medeiros fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Silvinho Monteiro having to interfere. Eriberto Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute of the match Osmar Toledo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvinho Monteiro skillfully saved the ball. Lauro Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvinho Monteiro having to interfere. If Lauro Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ipua's Silvinho Monteiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Ipua from getting a goal against them. After 36 played minutes Ipua got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Jacinto. In the 38th minute Adriano Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Geovani das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmílson de Medeiros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adriano Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adriano Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th match minute, Galhao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Galhao's zone, Adriano Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovani das Neves came out of the goal and Adriano Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonardo Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Ipua's goal looked a bit too open when Lauro Queirós came free, but Silvinho Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ipua's Adriano Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Leonardo Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ipua's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovani das Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Breno Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Galhao's zone, Leonardo Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovani das Neves came out of the goal and Leonardo Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ipua's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
