In the 15th minute, Tostão Teles made a precise shot to the right of Hélder Pernambucano. Ibiam FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Juarês Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Turbonegro defense, Jarbas Mota kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anselmo Massa. The Turbonegro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anselmo Massa should have stopped the shot. Anselmo Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Cardoso in the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ibiam FC's Gil Rocha got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Franklin de Brito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anselmo Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas Mota in the 34th minute of play. After 35 played minutes Turbonegro got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Romero. In the 45th minute, Luisão Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Turbonegro's Anselmo Massa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Turbonegro from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Turbonegro getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Célio Cavalcante hit a great ball. Turbonegro's Anselmo Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Cardoso in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Turbonegro's goal looked a bit too open when Serafim Cardoso came free, but Anselmo Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Felippe de Alcântara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Turbonegro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibiam FC the free kick. Anselmo Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Cardoso in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 78th minute Serafim Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélder Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tostão Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Tostão Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Hélder Pernambucano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ibiam FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Franklin de Brito was slow to take the kick. During this time Turbonegro's players had a chance to rest. Turbonegro's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
