Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ibiam FC's Serafim Cardoso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Flávio Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Pernambucano having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cova's zone, Serafim Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdomiro Torres came out of the goal and Serafim Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Cova's Gláuber Guedes got a free kick in the 7th minute. If Serafim Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Ibiam FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evandro Costa came free, but Hélder Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélder Pernambucano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flávio Bastos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th match minute, Ibiam FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Silveira to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 25 minutes, Flávio Bastos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flávio Bastos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28thth minute of the game Evandro Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ibiam FC's Hélder Pernambucano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hélder Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Bastos in the 32nd minute of play. Evandro Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Pernambucano having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Cova's goal looked a bit too open when Serafim Cardoso came free, but Valdomiro Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flávio Bastos to make the kick off. With a little luck, Ibiam FC's Hélder Pernambucano got control of the ball when Evandro Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Flávio Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafim Cardoso took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdomiro Torres. Valdomiro Torres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Hélder Pernambucano didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 75th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Cova's Valdomiro Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarbas Mota in the 81st minute of play. Serafim Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdomiro Torres having to interfere. If Serafim Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Pernambucano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flávio Bastos in the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Ibiam FC's goalkeeper Hélder Pernambucano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evandro Costa. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
