Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elói Mota, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luís Gustavo Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Sabóia in the 10th minute of the match. If Cauan França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Joselito FC booed when Etanois FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joselito FC's Elói Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauan França in the 23rd minute of play. Charles Secco's late challenge caught a Joselito FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charles Secco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th match minute, Etanois FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Secco to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Etanois FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiaguinho de Alcântara came free, but Luís Gustavo Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Etanois FC booed when Joselito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cauan França in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elói Mota prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmílson Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cauan França was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Joselito FC's Hortêncio Passos got a free kick in the 51st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Joselito FC's Tiaguinho de Alcântara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luís Gustavo Dantas. That made the score 1-1 after 54 minutes of play. After 59 minutes, Falcão de Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Etanois FC and the Joselito FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Etanois FC! The goalkeeper, Luís Gustavo Dantas, was totally fooled by Joselito FC's Telmo Félix, who 60 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Tiaguinho de Alcântara, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 63 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Luís Gustavo Dantas was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Edmílson Sabóia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hortêncio Passos during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 76 played minutes Joselito FC got a freekick which was hit by Hortêncio Passos. 79 minutes into the match, Joselito FC's Edmílson Sabóia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Gustavo Dantas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Etanois FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tiaguinho de Alcântara 82 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. After 90 minutes, Claudinei Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Etanois FC and the Joselito FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Etanois FC's Claudinei Azevedo got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute Tiaguinho de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Gustavo Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinícius Cordeiro lost his temper 95 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Telmo Félix walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After a rather tough play, Etanois FC's Diamantino Botelho got a free kick in the 98th minute. If Edmílson Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joselito FC played a much better game than Etanois FC and deserved their victory. The Etanois FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
