With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jarbas Bezerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tiaguinho de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarbas Bezerra having to interfere. 0-1 became the score in the 13th minute when Edmílson Sabóia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Joselito FC's Luís Leão got a free kick in the 21st minute. Luís Fábio Melo in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elói Mota, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Edmílson Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luís Fábio Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Joselito FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
