Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when João Paulo Toscano took the kick off in the first half of the match. Enrique Saldanha might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dorival Meireles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Saldanha ran back to his position shaking his head. Gildo de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrézinho Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Erasmo de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Andrézinho Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Jeriba AD's goal looked a bit too open when João Paulo Toscano came free, but Gildo de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Dorival Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeriba AD's Gildo de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Paulo Toscano in the 31st minute of play. With a little luck, Aguacuzinho AD's Dorival Meireles got control of the ball when Ivo Barral tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivo Barral got free with Dorival Meireles in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aguacuzinho AD's goalkeeper Dorival Meireles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dorival Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo de Brito in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrique Saldanha to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivo Barral in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorival Meireles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andrézinho Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gildo de Amorim having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Erasmo de Brito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jeriba AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aguacuzinho AD the free kick. A collision led to Jeriba AD getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Erasmo de Brito hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Aguacuzinho AD's João Paulo Toscano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gildo de Amorim. Gildo de Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 77 minutes into the match, Jeriba AD's goalkeeper Gildo de Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrézinho Diniz. In the 80th minute, João Paulo Toscano fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gildo de Amorim, passed just outside the right post. Gildo de Amorim was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and João Paulo Toscano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. João Paulo Toscano really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Jeriba AD's Gildo de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Paulo Toscano in the 93rd minute of play. João Paulo Toscano struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Gildo de Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aguacuzinho AD. In the 100th minute Paulo Renato Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
