The crowd rose to their feet as Claudinho Brito kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vicente Toledo. That made the score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. If Jaime Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Jaime Brasil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Guga Sampaio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute, Jaime Brasil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guga Sampaio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 43rd minute, Jaime Brasil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bandelocos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Guga Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joosep Kaasik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Brasil was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot 51 in the game by Erasmo Neves from a close distance when the talented Guga Sampaio managed to make a qualified save. Ipomeia's players were relieved. Ipomeia's Guga Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Bertassi in the 55th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Didi Araújo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ipomeia and the Bandelocos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jaime Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Sampaio having to interfere. Erasmo Neves in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Guga Sampaio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Claudinho Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudinho Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th match minute, Ipomeia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Brito to maneuver through the defense. Guga Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Brasil in the 68th minute of the match. Bandelocos's Joosep Kaasik got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guga Sampaio was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Jano Eger capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jano Eger really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Vicente Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silas Tróia in the 78th minute of play forced Bandelocos's goalkeeper Vicente Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Ipomeia's goalkeeper Guga Sampaio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erasmo Neves. 82 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's Jano Eger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guga Sampaio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jaime Brasil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erasmo Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Guga Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jano Eger charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jano Eger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Jano Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Bandelocos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ipomeia throughout the match.
