Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. César Figueiredo started the match with the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Armando Teixeira in the 5th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pombal Futebol e Regatas's Tomé Linares. Gilberto Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Paulo Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jacinto Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, César Figueiredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Guimarães. Bueno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that César Figueiredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 20 minutes into the game, Tomé Linares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Paulo Guimarães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Pombal Futebol e Regatas booed when Bueno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Efrain Nofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Tomé Linares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pombal Futebol e Regatas's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomé Linares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the game, Tomé Linares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pombal Futebol e Regatas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bueno the free kick. In the 33rd minute, Tomé Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Bueno booed when Pombal Futebol e Regatas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomé Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pombal Futebol e Regatas's Efrain Nofre quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Christian Sampaio, made in the 40th minute of the game. Paulo Guimarães was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Efrain Nofre showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 41 minute of play. César Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Guimarães having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After 53 played minutes Bueno got a freekick which was hit by Luís Guilherme Meireles. If Jacinto Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomé Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64 played minutes Pombal Futebol e Regatas got a freekick which was hit by Tomé Linares. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertinho Penha in the 68th minute of play forced Pombal Futebol e Regatas's goalkeeper Jorginho Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Nofre charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efrain Nofre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute, Efrain Nofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If César Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 74 minutes, José Pedro Maciel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bueno and the Pombal Futebol e Regatas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bueno's José Pedro Maciel got a free kick in the 74th minute. Paulo Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Sampaio in the 75th minute of the match. César Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. César Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Paulo Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Tomé Linares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pombal Futebol e Regatas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomé Linares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomé Linares in the 91st minute of play. With a little luck, Pombal Futebol e Regatas's Jorginho Hermes got control of the ball when Luís Guilherme Meireles tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute Albertinho Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorginho Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pombal Futebol e Regatas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
