Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alfredinho Favoretto took the kick off in the first half of the match. Enéas Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Ulysses de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7thth minute of the game Enéas Miranda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esponjas do Couto's Ulysses de Brito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luisão Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Enéas Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisão Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruslan Bundash took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredinho Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruslan Bundash made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Tomé Donatello sent off a good shot on target. Ulysses de Brito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enéas Miranda's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. A collision led to Esponjas do Couto getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Celso Terra hit a great ball. Luisão Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ulysses de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esponjas do Couto's Ulysses de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enéas Miranda in the 28th minute of play. Ulysses de Brito came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Monte Azul's Enéas Miranda. But to his dismay, Enéas Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 39 played minutes Atlético Monte Azul got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Queiroz. Luisão Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses de Brito having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luisão Vander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Monte Azul's zone, Tomé Donatello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruslan Bundash came out of the goal and Tomé Donatello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Enéas Miranda got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Enéas Miranda in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ulysses de Brito, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Enéas Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute Luisão Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisão Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enéas Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses de Brito having to interfere. The supporters of Atlético Monte Azul booed when Esponjas do Couto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luisão Vander struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Ulysses de Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Monte Azul. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Monte Azul's goalkeeper Ruslan Bundash, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Enéas Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cacá Queiroz during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Atlético Monte Azul's Cacá Queiroz got a free kick in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Esponjas do Couto's Denílson de Moraes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Tomé Donatello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Enéas Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Atlético Monte Azul's Ulysses de Brito threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luisão Vander, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 91st minute, Enéas Miranda fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ulysses de Brito, passed just outside the right post. Esponjas do Couto's Ulysses de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enéas Miranda in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Atlético Monte Azul left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Esponjas do Couto.
